Planning Consent has been received for this new low-cost housing scheme on a brownfield site in Croydon, providing a mix of three and four bed family homes.

Aligned with the neighbouring terrace, the clear simple form of the new terrace steps up the slope of the site towards the leafy backdrop of mature trees to the north. External materials have been selected to complement the existing context but provide a distinctively contemporary aesthetic. The ground floor is of contemporary brick with a limewashed finish, contrasting with the sharply detailed dark grey vertical composite board rainscreen cladding above which wraps over the building forming the roof finish. Deeply recessed first floor front windows with coloured reveals add a sense of depth and substance with a playful spirit.
